Ahoy,
As we close out April, we begin our busy Cruising Season. We finish April with a busy weekend with our latest installment of our Boating Experiences Workshop on April 26th with member Grayson Connor relating his experiences with worldwide Cruising. This will be followed by our Annual Open Boat at Boat Haven on April 27th. Captains Bill and Duano have great day planned at the docks.
May starts out with our Opening Day (Weekend) celebration at Port Ludlow. The weekend starts with a cruise to the Marina with an invite by PLYC to join them for Happy Hour. Followed by our Annual Past Commodores Dinner organized by Eileen Baratuci. The weekend ends with a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning organized by cruise Captains Linda Abbey and Duane Madinger.
The following week features or Monthly Members Meeting where our new Scholarship Recipients will be introduced by the Scholarship Committee, and we should have results of our Clubhouse Search poll.
On May 13th, we have our Hat Island / Langley Cruise with our Annual 1 Club Golf Scramble, Followed the next day by the short cruise to Langley for a group dinner. This cruise offers cocktails and food by the fireplace. This location is a great shakedown cruise. Co-Captains include Linda and Scott Abbey, Jo and Gary Mallet.
