PTYC IS ALMOST DRESSED UP FOR THE PARTY
The Wooden Boat Festival (September 5-7th) is almost upon us and the PTYC booth is looking pretty "spiff." The jewels that add the sparkle to our presence is of course you, our members. Thank you to all who have signed up to help in the PTYC booth. We can use a couple more people to sign up for Saturday 3:00-6:00 pm and Sunday 3:00-5:30 (including take down).Just email Elizabeth Eisenhardt atechaney@marketcatalystgroup.comand let me know how you can help. All volunteers will get a free pass at the Festival check-in desk.
Our main themes are "Cruising Fun, Boating Experience Workshops, and our fundraising efforts for PTYC Fund for Marine Trades and Sciences. We are highlighting cruising spots and reciprocals for people passing by, hopefully to enable our booth personnel to engage with a topic and begin a longer conversation. It is a really fun experience to be part of the Wooden Boat Festival and will help to recruit new members to join our boating community.
