March 2026 Spring's Around the Corner....

Here we are in March...aka "the last month before Boating Season prep starts." Maybe I just made that up, but it is what seems to happen in the Pacific North West. Recently, I attended a fun game night at our new "home" and it was the perfect event to get me off the couch on a blustery Friday night! We have more events planned to get us through this pre-boating season month and I hope you all have them on your radar.
- The month starts with the RV cruise to Grayland and Fort Stevens. There is still time to join in...RV or no RV. We have museum visits and fun planned!
- The Member Meeting features Richard Tucker of the Jefferson Land Trust. Tucker will speak on "Land Trust's Efforts to Preserve Local Waterways, Wetlands & Shorelines"..
- I am not spreading blarney when I say that The St. Patrick's day party, led by the Gorski clan, will be some of the best St. Paddy's fun you have had in years!
- And lastly, the March 28th " Night of Gold" should be an interesting and wonderful fund raiser for our scholarship fund. Tickets are going fast, so purchase them ASAP! To get the full benefit of Alan's story, read "A Ship of Gold in a Deep Blue Sea" by Gary Kinder and join us for a book discussion at 4:00pm on March 12th, at Finn River.
If these events are not enough, try hosting a pop-up event! March Madness on the big screen? Yes, please! Games at the Pour House? Absolutely! Let the web team know and they will post it and help you with an email alert.
So many folks have stepped up to end our time at the clubhouse, which was built with volunteer labor and contributions. The club doesn't function without people stepping up.
We have a few committees and activities that could use your help. Please step-up as you can!
