Memorial for Melinda Hayes
Room Set up for the Opening Day Past Commodore‘s Dinner.
Come celebrate the official start of Boating Season in the Pacific Northwest. Our Friday night dinner will feature our Past Commodores who have given so much time and energy into shaping PTYC into the great club it is today.
The Board has plans to serve up a delicious Italian meal complete with appetizers, dinner, wine and dessert.
Rather than a PT Waterfront Parade in 2024, we are organizing a one night Cruise to Port Ludlow Marina to celebrate Opening Day of boating season in 2024. The Club will be offering a shore-side potluck BBQ dinner with all Members invited to join. We will conclude the evening by gathering around the fire pit for a final toddy and stories to be told.

NEWS! We‘ve had 2 cancellations. Contact Cruise Captains to see if we can fit you in at Hat and/or Everett!
We are excited to try something new and fun! Come enjoy the experience of a private island just west of Everett.Their private marina offers restrooms and showers ashore, a covered picnic area and a private 9 hole golf course. On May 13th, we will gather for heavy appetizers in the early evening. The next day we will host our "strictly fun" 1 club team golf scramble. Everybody plays with just one club, your pick. Don‘t golf? No worries! Everybody gets to help with moving the ball forward. Cost is $25 per person (dogs allowed on course). Prize awarded for the most creative golf hat on Hat Island. We will also enjoy a group potuck ashore under the covered pavilion. The Yacht Club building is under renovation so we will await Everett for a group BBQ.
On May 15th we will cruise a short distance to Everett, Guest Dock 5 in the heart of the marina and adjacent to the new waterfront developments. Everett is the largest marina on the west coast and they are heavily investing in all the amenities a large waterfront offers. We will host a BBQ meat entree on the first night, you bring your beverages and side dishes. On the 2nd night we have reserved a private dining room at Scuttlebutts Brewery at 5:30 PM for a no-host group dinner. Morning coffee and baked goods can be savored at the South Fork Baking Company, just above our dock. Daytime excursions may include a lovely walk up to Grand Ave. Park or the Boxcar Park on the waterfront, a visit to Bluewater Organic Distillery for complimentary tastings, or a visit to one or more of the local brew pubs within walking distance. Others may enjoy a dinghy ride to the jetty on a nice day for beach combing.
